Don’t love goat cheese? Swap it out for cream cheese. I have tested this recipe with full cream cheese as well as a combination of plain and honey goat cheese. I usually grab whichever is available at Aldi.
These ingredients are so simple that it’s easy to keep them on hand and whip them up for unexpected company in a jiffy.
What Can I Substitute?
You can easily transform this dip into a cheese log or cheese ball. Stir up the ingredients and wrap into a log or ball with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours or up to 2 days before serving.
Swap out the mint for another fresh herb such as rosemary or thyme. Lavender would be fantastic as well.
Experiment with different local honey such as wildflower, clover, vanilla, or sage. You can even find fruit-infused honey!
Instead of cooking the blueberries in honey with a vanilla bean pod, you can drizzle in a few tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.
