I am forever using the "forgot my password" button. And my workplace requires we change passwords every 90 days and recommends using different "strong" passwords for various sites. I'm the IT guys' worst nightmare 😉 I've resorted to making a cryptic cheat sheet and putting it in my wallet.
I'm the queen of forgetting passwords. I have to constantly re-set them. I've tried to come up with one that I use for everything, but I haven't been successful in that endeavor. Help!!

I admit I'm one of those people who tends to use the same password for too many different sites–not a good idea I know. My husband was trying to apply for a hunting license just last night and couldn't remember his password, or even his user name or the email account he had used at the site before. We finally gave up and started a brand new account. This Norton Identity Safe is something we both need to install–pronto!

I forget my passwords all the time. I write them down then I can't find them.
I've forgotten passwords and gotten locked out of important accounts when I'm overseas and absolutely need access. It's extra difficult to call the company to get back into the account, too.
I have 3 different passwords i use so when i put different ones i always end up forgetting them! I have so many forgetten passwords & usernames.
I really struggle remembering passwords. At my last job I had 2 different passwords that had to be changed every 3 months…what a disaster that was!!
I change my password every month for security.

Sigh, I always forget my password for my college's alumni network and have to get it resent to me. Which results in me changing it every time I use the site…and thus never remembering the new passwords I choose. Sigh!!!

We lost the password to our computer several years ago and finally had to call in several favors from a computer-genius-friend. He was able to get into the system and restore it after a couple of days. Always, always write it down in several places! or tattoo it on your leg, whichever is easier. 😉
I did the same thing- used my personal e-mail, then created one for my blog, and can never remember which e-mail I've used for various things. Then once I figure out which e-mail to enter, the passwords aren't consistent. I have spent over twenty minutes swearing at FoodGawker's login page, no lie.

Yeah, I forget passwords almost daily. The worse was when I was on vacation and forgot my passwords. No email for over a week…I thought I was going nuts!

I tend to always forget my password when I am trying to log into something important. (Banking, school work, business, etc…) I always forget at the worse times!
I forget my password or get them mixed up and then get locked out.
I also did the alternate form of entry
I pretty much forget my passwords all of time! I recently forgot one for one of the programs I use at work and tech ops had to come find me and reset it for me before I could proceed. Annoying! It's hard remembering so many different passwords!
I have so many passwords and am always getting locked out, and it is such a hassle to have to get another one
My bank makes you change your password every 60 days, which means I can never remember which password I'm using.
Katrina:
I'm so sorry that I'm not eligible (I live in Canada), as I have a real memory problem.
However I am grateful for the heads up about this program.
It is also great, that Norton makes it.
Thanks so much.
Have a Joyful Day :~D

The worst was when I forgot my password to my email but then came to find out it was hacked !
I always forget passwords and end up getting locked out and then have to call…super annoying since the whole point of online accounts is to not have to deal with customer service!

i have two passwords that i use for most things. One is for important stuff – banking, email, etc. while the other is used for miscellaneous stuff such as online forums.

I'm usually good about that but there have been times like recently where I just changed the password and I forget what it was changed to and I lock myself out Dx ….and then I usually just end up calling customer service or email them and I get it fixed lol!

If I had a $1 for everytime I have forgetten my passwords I would be rich LOL I even tried written then down and yes, I did lose the spiral I wrote then down in! I think I use a good excuse for forgetting everything, I have twins that are in their terrible twos =]
I usually switch back and forth between passwords. WHY do some sites make you change it every 30-45 days?! I can never remember my Facebook password, and have to keep changing it.
I have a hard time remembering what password I used for sites I don't go on very often.
I usually remember all of my passwords, but I sometimes have a hard time remembering my pin number!
My kids kept making in app purchases on my iPhone so I set a password for it – only now I want to use in app purchases but can't remember the password and according to apple and AT&T the only way to resolve the issue is to completely reset my phone – deleting everything on it in the process!!
I am frequently forgetting passwords and having to click forgot pasword, especially on sites that I don't sign into frequently. It is hard to keep all the passwords straight.

I have at least 20 passwords I use and never write them down anywhere so it can be mayhem. There have been times I have had to go through all the passwords (if I'm not locked out). Then click forgot password only to remember it – lol
Way too many times I have forgotten my passwords….I have to click on the forgot password too often.

I once forgot my password to my bank account and locked myself out. I had to call customer service to have it reset. It was such a hassle. This software would be really helpful.
I have one in particular that requires a capital letter and a symbol/character key. Every single time I need to log in, I forget it. Every time. This would be useful!
I lock myself out ALL the time! I have to call the company and spend time on hold just to…like…pay my cable bill. Fun times!

I have a pretty foolproof password now because I used to forget it all the time!! I would always get locked out of banking or my online class. The thing that throws me is when they have special rules about setting a password, so I have to change it up.
I'm like you… too many passwords and combinations and often lock myself out.

Oh my gosh, I have too many stories about forgetting my password! And, yes, I, too, have been locked out of MANY sites because I've screwed up my password!
One thing I find myself doing quite often is clicking on "forgot password" and going through the whole stinkin' process of resetting the password, only to remember it when I see the "rules" of the password (must have one capital letter/number/symbol, whatever) So irritating!
I'm going to check out the Norton site right now. 🙂

I always forget my password when it comes to signing onto my bank. Probably not a great one to forget!
My hubs is a computer tech, so he makes sure I have "secure" aka "hard to remember" passwords.
I was convinced that the best way to keep my bank password safe was to never write it down and just memorize it. Needless to say I would have to call my bank at least once a month to get it reset, hoping that they don't keep track of how many times I've called for that reason. Judging by my latest responses from the bank, however, I think they know haha! Now I developed a better system and haven't called the bank in almost 6 months;)
I can never remember my password for our bank card and you can't use the same one twice. I have to change it every time I try to use it.
