{Easy as Pie} Apple Fritters
It’s an Apple Party over at Baked by Rachel! She has gathered up a new apple recipe every day for the month of September and I’m happy to be joining the party today with these {Easy as PIE} Apple Fritters.
These apple rings take a dip in some spiced up pancake batter before being fried and dusted with powdered sugar. This is such a simple recipe and it really captures the feel of a doughy fritter with only a tiny bit of the guilt. So come join me over there for these {Easy as PIE} Apple Fritters! I want to bring lots of friends to the party!!
Happy Fall, Y’all!!

Hi Betty! Sorry for the confusion! In the full recipe over at Baked by Rachel I say to use 2 apples- peeled and *cored* and that's what makes the apple rings. You can find apple corers in any kitchen store- ore even Target or Walmart. It is a sharp circular knife that cuts straight through the middle of the apple (coring it) and leaving you with a seedless apple in the shape of a ring.
What a fun snack – so cute too!
I LOVE apple fritters. Have to go check this out!
