Chocolate Covered Spider Apples
I have been looking for an excuse to buy these spider leg cupcake holders. You know me- I just can’t be normal. One day as I was trying to justify their purchase I just threw them in my cart…on top of a bag of apples. **Cue angels singing and me jumping up and down like a crazy person in the middle of Target.** People often ask me about how I get these ideas. There you go, people; my creative process revealed.
I’m excited because today is the kickoff to a fun week here In Katrina’s Kitchen- Halloween Classroom Party Week! I want to invite you all back here every day this week for a FAST, easy classroom party treat, craft, or snack. Truly these are things that you can whip up the last minute and feel completely superior to the other room moms. Keeping it real here, folks. You know you don’t want to be the mom that always gets asked to bring the paper plates.
Everything this week is almost embarrassingly easy. I promise that these chocolate covered spider apples are the most labor intensive. And If you don’t want to dip an apple in chocolate, plop on some candy eyes and a frosting smile then I’ve provided an even more simple idea for you- baby pumpkin spiders! Still 100% room mom WOW factor approved. Wouldn’t these be an adorable teacher gift?
