This is not your grandma’s mixer- although if your grandma has a KitchenAid mixer it probably still works just as good as it did the day she bought it. No, this 7-quart bowl-lift mixer can handle up to 8.5 loaves of bread or 14 dozen cookies at a time!
I use my KitchenAid mixer to make my Best Cut Out Cookie Dough and our family’s favorite Copycat Macaroni Grill Bread. I also use it to mix food coloring into my frosting to make 5-Minute Fancy Frosting.
I even use my mixer to shred fully cooked chicken- (it takes less than a minute!) just throw it in the bowl with the paddle attachment. My kids come running whenever I use my mixer because they know something delicious is happening.

My Husband gave me a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas 1990, since then I have made cheesecakes (one for each side of the family) for Thanksgiving every year and, usually, Christmas, too. When my kids were young, we made christmas cookies every christmas, many traditions for the holidays from my Kitchenaid.

First thanking you and kitchenaid for this contest, I see all of the beautiful creations that are being made and created with this mixer there is no comparison between Kichenaid stand mixer, Viking stand mixer and other brands stand mixers, Kitchenaid has a reputation for greatness and a following of bakers like no other, how I would be honored to have this stand mixer in my kitchen, where I can mix large amounts of cookie dough without fear that the motor would burn out, also with all the attachments that I can purchase and add on makes this a winner, one appliance that can do so many great things, again thanks for the contest and allowing me to express my thoughts and how I feel about Kitchenaid!

Oh, my 20+ year old KitchenAid died, not worth fixing. I use my mother's old 50 year old Sunbeam, but really need a new KitchenAid to handle the heavy stuff! I miss my KitchenAid.
