This is the real deal! Cruise Packing Hacks that You’ve NEVER Seen Before. You’ll be the envy of everyone on the ship with these cruise packing essentials! This post was sponsored by Princess Cruises. All opinions and photos are my own.

Cruise Packing Hacks

Cruise travel is a bit different than other travel. You’ll find all sorts of packing tips and lists online, but I can tell you that you won’t be disappointed that you came across this one! I recently cruised the Panama Canal onboard the Coral Princess. It was an unforgettable experience and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have in the comments. Here are some of my most unique and useful packing hacks:

Coral Princess

Mini travel outlet with USB ports

This is the most lightweight and versatile travel outlet that I’ve found. I also love that it has USB ports!

White noise machine

We never travel without this white noise machine. No hallway noise, only the gentle sway of the ship to rock you to sleep. Seriously we had the best sleep ever.

Cruise Packing Hacks

Suction hooks

These suction hooks are perfect for cruising! We hang them in our shower to save space. They’re strong enough to hold your wet swimsuit while it dries or even your water shoes! Pro tip: Suction them to your sliding glass balcony door in your stateroom too!

Also, Princess Cruises staterooms are equipped with generous amounts of shampoo, conditioner and bodywash so don’t bother packing your own if you aren’t picky. It’s from the Lotus Spa and smells wonderful!

Lightweight travel backpack

Get a lightweight camping/travel backpack to take with you on excursions. You can pack it for the day or just keep it folded up in your pocket until you need it. I have to thank my husband for this smart purchase!

Extra long USB charging cables

There are lots of these extra long charging cables out there so do your research and find the best fit for your devices. I suggest a pack with a 10 foot cord because your outlet may be on the other side of the room and it’s nice to chill in your bed while your phone is charging. Hey! This is vacation after all!!

Stick-on wallet

I spotted this stick-on wallet on my previous cruise and I knew I wanted one if I ever traveled by cruise again. It is handy for keeping a few extra dollars close by during excursions. Also I used it to keep my room key card on me at all times. No lanyard for this hip lady 😉 Ha!

Kindle Paperwhite with FREE Overdrive eBooks from your library

Seriously this Kindle Paperwhite was my most favorite item that I packed for the cruise. There’s a reason it’s rated #1 for outdoor e-readers. I could even read outside in the bright Caribbean sunshine! Also be sure to download a bunch of free library eBooks through the Overdrive app. I read 4 books during my 10 day Panama Canal Cruise and I saved so much suitcase space and weight. Also, be sure to check out my packing guide from my previous cruise. I tried not to repeat too many things, and you can take a peek at my favorite lightweight travel camera and other Uncommon Cruising Essentials.
