Black Bread (My Guest Post) and a Giveaway!
I’m so pleased to be a guest blogger over at More Than a Mount Full today. When Chef Dennis contacted me about being a part of his Guest Post Friday series I just about passed out! Truly I felt like I had won the Blogging Oscars! I mean he’s a REAL chef and he invited me and my little blog to come over and hang out with the big kids. Chef Dennis has been a professional in the food industry for over 35 years. He has spent the last 6 years as the Chef/Director of Dining Services at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown, Pa. He is an honest blogger and so very helpful to those of us who are still trying to figure this blogging thing out.
I could really go on but you’re here for the eats, so head over to More Than a Mount Full for some Black Bread.
This was a very tasty bread and it can be made sweet or savory. Stop by Chef Dennis’ and tell him Katrina sent you! Stay there and poke around for a while – you’ll like what you see!{Black Bread Printable Recipe Here}
Oh yeah I mentioned a giveaway, didn’t I? I have a set of 4 mini loaf pans so you can try your hand at this recipe. Any bread can be made into mini loaves, just monitor the baking time and adjust accordingly. I especially like making quick breads in mini loaf pans.
Just leave me a comment to be entered. If you want an extra entry go visit Chef Dennis and leave me a seperate comment letting me know you stopped by his blog. (He would love it if you left him a comment too!) The last day to enter the giveaway will be Wednesday, May 11th. Open to US residents only (sorry!). Thanks and good luck! This giveaway has ended.
