Cream Cheese Meltaways


  • 4 Oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Softened Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • 3 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar divided
  • Red Food Coloring


  • Beat cream cheese, butter, corn syrup, and mint extract on medium speed until smooth. Gradually beat in 3 Cups powdered sugar until combined.
  • Turn "dough" out onto a clean surface sprinkled with remaining powdered sugar and knead until smooth and no longer sticky.
  • Divide dough into 3 portions and tint red, pink, and white. Roll each portion into a rope. Press together and flatten slightly. Cut out desired shapes.
  • Cover and chill at least 4 hours. Store covered in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
