Pumpkin Spice Vanilla Butter Sauce
Yield: 1 Cup
This warm, vanilla butter sauce flavored with pumpkin spice is the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving dessert table.
- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- seeds of one vanilla bean optional
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix cream, sugar, butter, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla bean seeds in a saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract. Serve warm with Pumpkin Cranberry Bread Pudding.
