Get messy with this adorable Dirt Cake- perfect for baby showers, Father's Day, garden parties, and birthdays for kids who like to get down and dirty! This one is filled with chocolate candy rocks and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ Cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar
  • 2 small boxes 3.4 oz size instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 Cups milk
  • 1 large tub 16 oz size Cool Whip
  • Chocolate candy rocks optional
  • Strawberries with hulls in tact optional

Instructions
 

  • Crush cookies until they resemble soil. Press about half into the bottom of a 9x13 dish. Set aside.
  • In the bowl of your mixer beat the cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes until thick. Fold in Cool Whip.
  • Gently fold pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture until combined.
  • Spoon filling on top of the crushed Oreos.
  • Press strawberries into the filing until just the green pokes out of the top (optional). Top with remaining Oreo crumbs and candy rocks (optional). Refrigerate until ready to serve.
