In reply to Caren Zimmerman. Chocolate that is not tempered will melt easily and be susceptible to fingerprints. That is why I prefer to temper my chocolate or use chocolate discs that are already tempered.

I made similar ones using semi-sweet chocolate chips. They turned out great in the end, but when i handled them to put the two halves together, I ended up with fingerprints in the chocolate. Did this happen to you? Do you know how to remedy this? Thank you.
