Such a cute idea! We used the yellow chocolate melts and needed to add some vegetable shortening to make it liquid enough to dip. The edible markers also did not work well for us, so since we were putting them in individual cellophane bags we drew the faces on the clear bag with a permanent marker and it turned out perfect.

My neighbor and I both made some of these for her son’s 4th birthday party! They’re super cute, but time-consuming. The edible markers did NOT work very well on the candy shell for either of us. My neighbor ended up having the idea to use black food coloring to draw the faces, and hers came out much darker than mine. They were a big hit! Everybody loved them! Took about an hour for one person to make 2 dozen.

Since my kids love Lego, I decided to make this Lego pops with them. I let them draw the faces and they were very happy. And they love the Lego pops.
