I wanted to add that I used the Wilton brownie pan. It made the cutest little individual fruit cakes. It took the same amount of time to bake in the brownie pan as it did to bake the cookies.

Thank you for this recipe. These cookies were delicious and a big hit with family and friends, even withe the fruitcake haters. Lol.This will definitely be one of my go-to holiday recipes.
