These are fantastic. I used these beauties at my family cookie swap and they were a huge hit. I was all out of nutmeg so I substituted with ground cloves and it worked amazing. The way these cookies smelled when they were baking is the perfect aroma of Christmas. I think it’s also worth noting that this recipe doubles wonderfully!
