S’mores Cups – Staying Connected {Verizon Wireless Jetpack Giveaway} Closed

Fluffy Smores cups no-bake mousse recipe- make this and serve it in small dessert glasses for individual servings or layer it up in a 9×13 dish.

Smores Cups Recipe

I take a lot of pictures and I enjoy sharing them with family and friends. Most of my Instagram feed is filled with behind-the-scenes shots of my life. I’ve enjoyed Instagram so much because it’s nice to look back over the past year and see spur of the moment snapshots of my life and remember what happened on those days. I also enjoy staying connected with family and friends by getting a glimpse of their day too.

Smores Cups recipe

This summer was such fun with two active boys! We enjoyed lots of activities as a family and ate lots of delicious food. I am not even kidding you that I made these S’mores Cups at least 3 times that I can remember. I snapped this shot with my Xyboard from Verizon Wireless. Not too shabby for a tablet!

Smores Cups Recipe

It all started out as a recipe challenge for an annual luau that our family attends each summer- the challenge ingredient was cream cheese. If there’s one thing that I’m good at it’s cream cheese. 😉 We left with the first place trophy and a happy boy! Have we connected on Instagram yet? S'mores Cups Recipe

PrintPrint

Yield: 8 mini dessert cups

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 3 hours, or overnight

Fluffy S'mores no-bake mousse cups

Ingredients:

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
4 oz package of chocolate pudding (powder)
2 Cups powdered sugar
1/2 Cup Biscoff spread
8 oz tub of Cool Whip
2-3 Tablespoons milk
marshmallows and graham crackers for garnish and layers

Directions:

  1. In the bowl of your electric mixer combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, pudding powder, milk, and Biscoff spread.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip
  3. Pipe into cups of any size and garnish with graham crackers and marshmallows. Place halved marshmallows in between layers if desired.
  4. Chill for at least 3 hours or overnight (will become a firmer consistency)

Notes:

  • I have also made this in a 9x13 dish layered between graham crackers.
  • Biscoff spread gives a hint of graham cracker taste in the dish. You can substitute peanut butter if you do not have Biscoff available to you.
  • I did not try this recipe with fresh whipped cream so I do not know if you can substitute it for the Cool Whip.

What is the white section in between the chocolate? It looks like a giant marshmallow but i wasnt sure

    • Katrina Bahl — May 29th, 2014 @ 3:36 pm

Yes those are giant marshmallows. If I am making this in a 9×13 dish I usually use graham crackers in between layers. Thanks for asking!

    What is Biscoff spread?

    • Katrina Bahl — May 29th, 2014 @ 3:36 pm

Hi Sharon, you can find Biscoff spread near the peanut butter is most grocery stores or online. It is an alternative to peanut butter made from Biscoff Cookies. I use it since my son has a peanut allergy. It’s incredibly delicious!

If the Cool Whip is folded into the mixture, what is the white layer in the photos?

    • Katrina Bahl — May 29th, 2014 @ 3:34 pm

Hi Lisa, I used marshmallows in between the layers. When I make it in a 9×13 dish I place graham crackers between the layers. Thanks for the question.

Do you use instant or regular chocolate pudding powder?

    • Katrina Bahl — June 7th, 2014 @ 4:17 am

I used instant in this recipe (not cook and serve).

What brand are the grahams that you used for the garnish on top? I am looking for bite sized ones, with no luck. 🙁 Thanks!

    • Katrina Bahl — June 26th, 2014 @ 6:40 am

The ones I used were from Keebler.
