Neapolitan Greek Yogurt Pudding Pops Recipe packed with protein!

If you are in my house these are also known as Choco-Berry Pudding Pops because choco-berrry milk is the best milk in all the land according to my kids. It all started this past March when the boys got some chocolate and strawberry powder for milk in their Easter baskets. Not being able to choose which flavor they wanted to try first choco-berry milk was born.

I’m a wife and a mom in a house full of boys who love to eat…and drink! Those boys sure  do love their milk! I rarely (if ever?) pick up just 1 gallon. There’s always room for milk in our refrigerator!

Drink Milk!

If your child is not enthusiastic about drinking white milk you should not feel guilty about giving them flavored milk. Seriously let’s be done feeling guilty. I want to share some points with you from the American Dairy Association:

  • Studies show that children who drink flavored milk meet more of their nutrient needs; do not consume more added sugar, fat or calories; and are not heavier than non-milk drinkers.
  • Flavored milk contains the same nine essential nutrients found in white milk, including three of the four nutrients of concern identified by the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans as limited in children’s diets – calcium, vitamin D, and potassium.
  • Drinking low fat or fat-free milk, in flavors like chocolate and strawberry, can help children get their three servings of milk every day.
  •  Kids who drink milk when they are young are more likely to drink milk as adults. Lifelong milk drinking is linked to stronger bones, a healthier heart and less chance of developing diabetes.
