November is For Peanut Butter

I just found out that November is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month. Who knew?! If you have poked around on my blog for any length at all you may have noticed that I kind of love peanut butter. Sadly PB has not had the attention it deserves lately after my toddler swiped some of the cereal in this recipe from his brother and had a mild allergic reaction. We were quickly introduced into the world of epi pens and allergy testing. No worries- everything is okay and we are now working with an allergist.

Peanut Butter #Recipes @KatrinasKitchen

Since I can’t make you a peanut butter treat to celebrate this month properly I am doing a little round up of sorts. My baby blog isn’t even a year old but I found a few peanut butter recipes for you…

Soft Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Homemade Butterfingers

Peanut Butter Pie Milkshake

Peanut Butter Truffle Mousse Cheesecake

Peanut Butter Ice Cream Topping

Peanut Butter Mini Dessert Shooters

Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies

Allergies really do put a damper on things (count me in for shellfish, strawberries) but working around them is fun! I think almond butter actually tastes better. These are delicious recipes!

Hopefully your little guy will grow out of it. I think E is going to have some allergies herself, already doesn't do well with cow's milk. Should be fun. In regards to your round-up: yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, and yum. :)

I am absolutely, positively in love with anything peanut butter. I eat it by the spoonful. So did my brother until he married someone with a peanut allergy and she refused to kiss him if he ate any peanut butter. My husband doesn't like it at all, and I am happy — more for me :) (Sorry about your kid's allergy. Hopefully you are still able to enjoy this delicious treat!)

I didn't grow up with peanut butter but I'm buying my first peanut butter jar soon to make cookies (that's the challenge I was talking about). I'm keeping this link so I can use the peanut butter for something else too! You have lots of delicious dessert here that I'd love to eat!
