Nacho Seasoned Crackers and a Giveaway {closed}

Nacho Seasoned Crackers from @KatrinasKitchen

One of my son’s first words was “nack!” (or “snack” for those of you who don’t speak toddler). I live in a house full of boys who like to eat. And as much as they put away at mealtime I am always surprised when the inevitable request for a snack comes an hour later. We eat fruit, veggies, cheese, crackers, or other treats between meals. Personally I am a fan of popcorn as a snack because of the sheer volume you can eat for not a lot of guilt.

So when the nice people at Kernel Season’s contacted me asking if I had tried their product and would I like to offer some to my readers I quickly agreed. You see I turn down my fair share of product reviews/giveaways because it is important to me that you feel like you are sitting at my kitchen table and not like you are in a grocery store. However I have been a fan of their popcorn seasoning for a long while and I know you would love it. But wait you say…this post says crackers not popcorn. This is because I use their season shakers on just about anything. My go-to is White Cheddar and I’ve used it on baked potatoes, steamed vegetables, pasta, and garlic bread.

Nacho Seasoned Crackers from @KatrinasKitchen

I would encourage you to go to the Kernel Season’s website and check out all 16 of their delicious flavors. I can’t wait to try the Chili Lime seasoning over some baked tortilla chips! Don’t get me wrong though this stuff is great on popcorn as well. Once you’ve had chocolate marshmallow popcorn you may just never be the same again.

This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Rachel from Baked by Rachel!

So, do you want some? Kernel Seasons is being very generous and has provided this gift package of a variety of their products. Here’s what you do:

1. Leave me a comment telling me if you’ve ever tried their season shakers or not

BONUS ENTRIES:
2. Follow Kernel Season’s on Facebook or Twitter and let me know you do

*A winner will be drawn using a random number generator on Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

*This giveaway is open to Continental US addresses only

Primarily I made these crackers (from the Kernel Season’s recipe booklet) because my littlest one is too young to eat popcorn. I was a little hesitant that the flavor might be too strong for him but nope- he dove right in along with his brother!

    I love these seasonings! You can't actually buy them in the grocery store here so I have to go to the movie theater and buy one there to horde for home use (in face, I usually buy 2 or 3…I'm sure you can imagine the looks.) Awesome crackers too, I had a 'DOH' moment when I saw that you'd used them on something other than popcorn! Buzzed!

    I have tried various other popcorn seasonings and they all seem to get hard in the containers before they are used us. I hadn’t ever thought of putting the seasoning on the crackers. I use the same recipe though with ranch dip seasoning and taco seasoning with great results. Even a mixture has turned out well. They are great for football games and as a side with any beer drinking occasion.
